    TD-Max Boost Controller    

    Adjustable boost capabilities for electronic 6.5 engines! Allows the user to increase boost levels for increased performance. Works on all electronic 6.5 models 94 up except those equipped with MAF (mass air flow) sensor. Click on heading for more details.

    "While this unit works on all model years, it is particularly effective on 1996 up trucks with HD "F" engine programming. It is my suggestion that 94-5 trucks take advantage of the TD-Max Performance Chip Prior to installing this unit as it will likely be unnecessary to ad the boost control with the proper chip calibration. Use on the 94-5 trucks and 96+ LD "S" engines may require a second controller on the firewall mounted MAP sensor to avoid an aggravated DTC 78 (wastegate solenoid) fault code." - JK

    Turbo Master mechanical wastegate control for GM1-4 turbos    

    The Turbo Master mechanical wastegate control allows increased boost pressures on any GM 1-4 turbo with the horizontal wastegate actuator. This turbo was used on 1992-1995 trucks and Suburbans as well as some motorhomes. The Turbo Master corrects the geometry of the OE lever giving the adjustable spring better leverage on the wastegate valve.

    "I prefer to control the electronic trucks via the OE vacuum system and my TD-Max performance chip. This chip will allow more of an adaptive boost level due to compensation for changes in atmospheric pressure. The OE system can also provide an improved spool up under quick accelleration as the Turbo Master will open at the set back pressure while the OE system will reference boost pressure only. If your OE vacuum system is failed and economics are an issue, then a Turbo Master is the clear choice." - JK
